QR-ECE (Qualitative Research in Early Childhood Education) was established as a scholarly journal in January 2026. The journal was founded in response to the growing need for a dedicated academic platform that focuses specifically on qualitative research in early childhood education.

Since its inception, QR-ECE has been committed to promoting rigorous, ethical, and context-sensitive qualitative inquiry that captures the voices and experiences of children, educators, families, and communities. The journal continues to develop its academic standards and editorial practices to support high-quality research and contribute to the advancement of early childhood education at national and international levels.
